Wild Juniper — Press & Media

At a Glance

Wild Juniper is a private wellness retreat nestled on 5 acres in Central Oregon’s high desert. Designed to support deep rest, nervous-system regulation, and nature-based reset, the property offers a quiet, restorative experience away from structured spa agendas.

Guests come to Wild Juniper not to escape life, but to realign with it—through self-guided experiences, restorative space, and time to simply be.

The Story

Wild Juniper grew out of founder Kelly Louden’s own health and life transformation. After being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition and reassessing her life priorities, Kelly pursued a decade-long journey of holistic healing, spiritual practices, and intentional simplification.

Her vision became tangible on a stretch of raw high-desert land near Terrebonne, Oregon, where she built the retreat from scratch — Rather than a traditional luxury rental, Wild Juniper was envisioned as a sanctuary—one that honors circadian rhythms, minimizes digital distraction, and invites guests into a slower, more grounded way of being.

The property organically attracts creatives, wellness practitioners, solo travelers, and couples seeking meaningful rest and reconnection with themselves and the natural world.
